Do not pay for foreclosure lists. All foreclosure lists are public information and available FREE. I know there are ads in the newspapers, with 800 numbers, that have lists for sale. These are the same foreclosure lists that are available for FREE. There is a service that sells PRE-foreclosure lists. They are legitimate and the lists are worth paying for. Do not believe everything you see on the late night TV shows. Foreclosures are usually under-priced and good buys, but they are not steals. Do not assume all foreclosures are rundown shacks. A foreclosure can be a castle, a shack or anything in between. Foreclosures happen in all price ranges. I have seen foreclosures in the million dollar range in the past year.
